Order Management platform
I was working in the supply-chain domain of Cerner as a UX Designer. The feedback comes from Cerner's customers from Europe (Sweden) which is not the same as those from the US. The customer doesn't get to see the same interface from every geological zone. Due to different requirements and conditions, there are security issues that are important in the domain. Hence, customer interaction is required in such cases.

The Task given
Solve for the display of the process status to the user

The physician using the tool puts a note if the drug requires a particular instruction in the prescription. The prescription moves ahead for the pharmacists. Sometimes not every drug is available as prescribed by the physician. Hence, the pharmacist has to make some manipulation and put another remark for the same. That requires another input space where the entire process holds a character limit. But the process disables further steps without showing any status to the pharmacist. The project doesn't end but is still under progress with other issues ahead.
What actually happened?
The role
UX Designer, Find multiple ideas and analyze their impact
I was an interaction designer in the team of Tyler Higgins, Kerry Thomson (Product Manager), Marsh Cameron(Senior Product Manager), Justin Peterson (Lead Designer), Abhiruchi Singh (Software Architect), Wong Kit (Developing Manager). The problem wasn't completely identified but was prioritized while working together. I have worked on all the possible ideas to understand their impact with the help of the stakeholders.
The duration
2 weeks
We had an entire quarter to come up with all the problems and deploy them for next year. But due to the priority of the issue. The problem was closed.
The Challenges
Dealing with Developer's bias
To validate the stakeholder's hypothesis for the priority of the feature in the web-app I interviewed users, studied the persona, and also their projection with market share and the impact that will affect Netcore's customers.
The Solution
Clickable Prototype on 'Sketch'

The above link has work made on Sketch and imported to Miro-board
Learning
Prioritization is very important for any problem we are solving
What would I change now
I would have changed the size of the error message. It requires a message which is short and crisp.
There was also an opportunity to follow different colour combinations for the icons and the type of alert.
